FAQ
Do I need an account?
No. PayPal Checkout is enough. There is no login for bidders.
What if two people bid at the same time?
Starting checkout reserves your bid for 15 minutes. Another person cannot take the same price while that reservation is live. Before we capture payment, the server re-checks the current owner. If your bid is no longer high enough, we do not capture — you are not charged.
Does paying guarantee traffic?
No. Payment buys the placement. Clicks are public and real, but not guaranteed.
Can I upload an image?
Not in V1. Your banner is rendered from title, URL/@handle, and an optional tagline.
What happens if I get outbid?
You lose the top slot. Your banner stays in the Hall of Fallen Banners as a permanent public record, with how long you held it and how much you paid.
