Privacy Policy

The Last Banner Ad is a public auction. There are no bidder accounts. This policy describes what we collect and why. It is not legal advice and does not create extra promises beyond what is written here.

What we collect

If you buy the banner we store the text you submitted (title, tagline, display name), the destination URL or handle, an optional processed banner image, the amount paid, timestamps, ownership duration, a public click counter, and payment identifiers from PayPal (order ID, capture ID, and limited payer metadata such as payer ID, email, and name).

PayPal handles payment processing. We do not store full payment card numbers. Payer and payment identifiers may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and support.

What is public

Banner submission content is public: title, tagline, display name, destination URL or handle, bid amount, timestamps, click counts, and any uploaded banner image. Email and payment-account information is not shown on the public site.

Clicks, logs, and operations

We count outbound clicks on banner destinations. We keep operational logs needed to run the auction, including checkout reservations and payment reconciliation events. Telegram operational notifications may be sent only to the site operator and may include limited transaction information such as amounts, titles, destinations, and capture IDs — not full payment credentials.

Cookies and analytics

Necessary cookies keep the product working (for example admin session cookies for moderators). Optional analytics cookies are used only if you accept them. If accepted, Google Analytics 4 may run to measure traffic and auction funnel events. You can change that choice later via Cookie settings. We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies.

Retention

Auction history is part of the product. Data may be retained for financial, dispute, and legal reasons. Hiding a banner from public view does not delete the underlying payment record.
